Lincoln, NE (March 1, 2023) – March is career fair month at the Milford Campus of Southeast Community College.

Four fairs involving career/technical education programs on the campus are scheduled throughout the month. The fairs, which will take place in the Welsh Center on campus, are open to current SCC students and Southeast alumni.

“All students from their first semester through their final semester are encouraged to attend,” said Shelly Tolle, Career Services specialist/Alumni coordinator.

Since the Welsh Center Gymnasium has limited space, the maximum number of employers, 80, has been reached for the March 7 and March 23 fairs. There is a waiting list for the March 7 event. Seventy-three employers have registered for the March 8 fair, while 64 have registered for the March 29 fair.

“Employers know the quality education and hands-on skills that our students receive and like to hire our students,” Tolle said. “Good students equal good employees. And several of our employers are SCC alumni themselves.”

Construction Division
Tuesday, March 7, 9-11 a.m.
Building Construction; Design & Drafting; Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration; Land Surveying/GIS/Civil Engineering; Plumbing.

Transportation Division
Wednesday, March 8, 9-11 a.m.
