Share Your Story: Merlin Nitzsche
Program of Study: Diesel Technology ’60

Merlin Nitzsche enrolled in the Diesel Mechanic program in the 1960s, which helped him with his career in farming and manufacturing. Under the guidance of instructor George Anderson, he knew he was ready for his career.
“George Anderson made my experience at SCC memorable,” Nitzsche said. “I recently had the chance to see the College for the first time since I graduated, and it’s impressive!”
Nitzsche likes to golf in his spare time. His advice for students is to always give their challenges their best shot. That is how you will be successful.
